need clutch for 96SS what to get?????

My dad wanted to get a SPEC clutch because he has heard a lot of good things about them. He went down to chicago with his friend to pick up that red 97 vette if anyone remebers from last year at FLP's shop and one of the guys that works their said they suck ass. I guess they make a lot of noise and are VERY hard to wear in. So if anyone is running a spec clutch or knows about them or a better one to get let me know.

Im hopefully doing round 2 on my spec stage 2 tommarow. It was in and long story short got f-ed up i think. So I orderd a new one. If i get it tomarow i will have it in ASAP and will be out breaking in stop and go for 500 miles. So you might see me on hwy friday 14th.
