And fucking gorgeous in Sin City. Sexy as fuck in the apartment scene when she has the bloody lip.

Anorexia....

Imo, it was probably bulimia...though anorexics and bulimics both are susceptible to heart complications as a result of their disorder, bulimics are more so since they tend to cause substantial electrolyte imbalances from continued purges.

For me, it's especially acute since my wife suffered (*suffers, actually) from an eating disorder (anorexia). So I hate hearing stuff like this, especially when it was someone with the means to get help...but then, they are also normally of the means to keep those who want to help them away.

It's hard to fathom the effort those with eating disorders go through to ensure they maintain their disordered behaviors. Though my wife is doing well weight wise, it's still a struggle for her.

They had been speculating about Murphy for years...even just a couple issues ago in USweekly they were asking her about her lack of health, with her saying everything was fine...my wife of course was showing me this, I don't read that rag on my own. So to hear this today was, and was not, a shock.

that is good to hear. would have sucked to see it an overdose or something. scary as hell. i hate when people just go to the doctor for little shit, but then when you read a story like this it makes you wonder. you also wonder even if she had gone to the doc if they would have caught it. seems like with the "flu like symptoms" you get sent home and told to rest more times than actually prescribed something.
