Stage one for my winter upgrades... the biggest tire I could fit in the back.

:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:: drool:

I'll line them up in the wheel wells tomorrow and take a pic.

You're right. But it's as fast as it'll get without a stronger bottom end ;)

What about all those parts you got for a super cheap deal?

They're all in place - or getting painted as we speak.

I'm finishing polishing the exhaust that is visible behind the IRS tomorrow

I'm almost done with one side and I think I've got 4 hours into it. A lot of sanding! I know it'll be hard to keep it looking like that... but the pipes are so visible, I think it's worth it.

Can you clear them with a high temp clear coat?

I honestly have no idea - I'm a little afraid to try that, since I've seen even the high-temp stuff get cloudy and I'd end up re-polishing them.

Ryan,

did you have to get those low profile subframe bolts to fit those tires? Can't wait to see them on!

I have enough clearance, but I think I'm going to throw those on anyway, since they're cheap and easy.

I can't go any larger than 315 with the IRS on the Cobra - if it were a SRA I could, but I'll sacrifice some width in return for what the IRS offers.

They're not mounted yet and probably won't be for at least a month.

yea i figured it was something with the IRS that limited space. I'm surprised my 335's fit with the minimal rubbing they do once and a while still gata roll the fenders tho in my case. witch i'll get to doing wen ever i get time to do anythign to that car lol

Car looks amazing with the polished exhaust. Definitely worth the effort. If you want long-term protection look into jet-hot sterling coating the exhaust.
