View Full Version : Looking for referrals for Xbox repairs.....

These posts were moved from another thread but any referrals would only help out the rest of us that may have had issues with ours and no warranties left.

I too have someone who will repair an RROD for cheap. cheap like $30 bucks and thats including parts and labor. He did mine, and its been working awesome ever since.

He even installed an upgraded 2 speed cooling fan for me. Has an high and a low switch. The low is nice for watching movies, you almost cant even hear it. Ball bearing dual fan kit. So between the parts and the $30 upgraded fan, I have a pretty solid xb360

Yeah that's how mine was the first time. I was told there were some family issues so I let it go. Ive only had it back a couple months and I am getting the same errors again. Not pleased at all right now.

Yeah, this is the one that they fixed the 1st time. While waiting for that one to get fixed, my other one died and I took it to a guy here in West Bend, had it back in an hour, has been working fine with alot of MW2 being played.

Guy in West Bend. PM me his info if ya could. I really don't want to deal with these other people again. I would do it myself but I do not have the patience for it.

I need help as well. Went to fire mine up today and I have 1 red light and it shows an E74 error code.

looks like I gotta give a call now too. damm thing kept freezing during the game then wouldnt restart only 3 red rings.

Thats exactly what I had on one of my boxes, he can turn that around in a couple days

What I like about Rob is that he fixes it and then let's it burn in for a while before handing it over. Since my Elite was the first one he figured out how to put a fan in I let him keep it a bit longer to make sure there were no problems.

That's the other thing, at no extra cost he adds a much more effective fan.
