I work on Sterling and have worked on everything else in the world, just say no to Mercedez Benz motors......

Im at Badger truck on Rogers and HWY, Sterling, Western Star, GMC and Isuzu if he see's anything he likes I get him a GOOD salesman.

He is screwed with any new EGR truck, buy a good used truck like a pre 98.

Dont doubt it, warranty only lets the Sterling techs replace what "they" say to replace (even if not needed). I wont make excuses, the newest generation of emission compliant issues with all makes, CAT/Cummins ect is a F-ing nightmare and will be worse in 2012.

Modern diesels have more wiring, sensors and relays controlled by complex computers that would make an F1 Ferrari look like a Briggs lawn mower with a mag drive.
