Mike and his dad Tom were kind enough to go through some gun safety training with my boys Josh (12) and Braden (10) this morning. In this age of video games kids just do not seem to have any respect for what they are and what they can do. So with the introduction of the new Remington 12 gauge I got from Coop's brother I thought this would be a great idea.

Braden, who was Mr. Shoot Everything before spending a couple hour with the guns I believe got the biggest reality shock, which is that these things can be damn load. But both learned quickly what they can and cannot do, especially Josh.

Speaking of Josh, he was hitting bullseyes on his second go-round with a .22 rifle, which I found highly impressive. Braden did really good to but Josh seems to have a knack for this stuff.

So anyway, big thanks to Mike and Tom for their help with the boys, greatly appreciated. Also was nice to get a few shots off on my new gun as well.

Mike's dad had a camera and got some shots, these are just from my phone. If you got some better shot's Mike let me know.

very cool. I remember when I first shot a .22 rifle it was in cub scouts. I dont even think I came close to hitting my targets.
