F-body driveshaft shattered

Saw a fast ass F-body at Great lakes tonight, no times posted but I could see this thing was pulling straight and hard.
Next time out, the car left the starting line and BAMM-bam bam bam....
Blew the driveshaft apart, chunks of aluminum all over the track.
I've seen axles and u-joints let go at the starting line but never seen a
driveshaft explode :wow

Yeah thats my main reason i replaced my stocker alluminum DS before that happend.

Got my PST carbonfiber 4" DS on and its meant to handle 1100 hp.

When the destruct they just shatter and dont beat the car up.

Kinda makes it easy to see why driveshaft loops were invented though doesn't it!
