What car company makes 17" hub caps?

That's why you can't find steel wheels anymore. Nobody makes cars with hubcaps except shit cars with 14" wheels.

I once found a listing for a universal steel wheel in big sizes. Let me see if I can find them. What are they going on??

what does hub caps have to do with anything? And FWIW GM has 17" stamped steelies with hubcaps that they use on the Saturn Aura XE. I believe a few other manufacturers do the same.

The problem is, he is looking for what I would imagine truck wheels judging by the large bolt circle. Most people want 15", and he wants 17's... Those will be tough to find.

If they were 6 bolts, I'd say head to the junk yard and pick up a set of silverado full size spares....

My point is steel wheels exist mainly because of car mfgs using hub caps. With less and less cars being offered with a hub cap choice, means less steel wheels even being made. Especially when a car mfg can make an aluminum wheel now for damn near the same price. That's why you can't find cheap ones anymore.

You can buy a cheap aluminum aftermarket wheels for well under $100 now. I've seen discount tire and tire rack sell them as low as $50 during sales.

I found these. Not as wide as originally wanted and am not sure if this is quite the correct bolt pattern.
