Getting them here New Berlin/West Allis border around 124th/National Ave.

Had 'em a couple times. We'll see how long this one lasts, haha. Been trying to watch the same movie for an hour now, haha.

I was driving on 92nd turning east onto Lapham and all of a sudden the whole night sky lit up like day. A transformer blew right around there, knocked the power off for a bit. Scared me at first as I was watching it! Most likely the same thing going on for you as well.

Hopefully outages don't last long! Big thanks to our WE Energies employees here on BCM. I'm sure their out right now bustin ass. Would suck big time to lose power in this weather.

We took about 30 calls for Wires down and exploding transformers in about 2 hours. Its gonna be long night for the WE Energies guys and local fire depts. It was bad enough during the rush just answering the calls, I definitely wouldn't wanna be out there.

I sent everyone home from work in Belgium because the power was going out all night long and we couldn't get anything done. Union Pacific railroad had 2 down power poles next of our facility 2 more were going down when I left. I ended up calling the Sheriff's department because they were on the railroad tracks and the train comes through around the time I saw the first one down. They got the the train stopped but now it is sitting there because it can't get through. The roads are getting really bad up here with some pretty nasty drifts!

power went out here in my area for a few seconds... lights flickering here and there... not so much anymore though...

you never realize how dark it really is until all the power is out.

Out here the power went out around 3AM and came back on full time about 5AM. It fucking sucked too becuase I sleep with a fan running, I need white noise to spleep and there was none. I don't count the wife snoring and making funny noises, thats annoying noise to me. :chair:

:rolf I HAVE to sleep with a fan on. I go crazy when we go some where else to stay and they don't have a fan when I sleep. It's kind of funny how many people use a fan year round.

All sorts of transmission lines were tripping out and distribution has been having a hell of a time. Reclosers got a workout last night, that's for sure.

Saw a bunch of branches down, and one of my friends who lives in tosa said there was quite a bit of lightning that was affecting her power last night.

lots of flickering power, house lights dimmed a few times. Sounded like a few transformers popped near me. Did see the sky light up quite a few times!

Our local grocery store is closed due to no power.

As luck would have it, I happen to be Duty Supervisor this week.

I basically have had to be on call for 24/7 to be the management employee that responds to things like company car accidents, callouts if the automated system doesn't work, engineering support, etc.

It hasn't been too bad, I've had to answer the phone a few times in the middle of the night and make some calls.

I really feel for the guys that have been out working in this crap weather for 16 hour shifts everyday!!!

Firemen, cops, plow drivers, etc. get all kinds of props but I don't care what anyone says, you guys are underappreciated fuckin' heroes.
