Here is the BCM snow estimate poll.

The rules:
-The members of this forum are not from one precise location, so the poll will focus on the Milwaukee area. If you are from the twin cities or Decatur, don't place a bet on your region.
-Start time: 12:01 AM, Tuesday, December 8.
-End time: 11:59 PM, Wednesday, December 9.

Good Luck

That being said we got pounded last time I snubbed the local forecasters so 8.89" at the airport, 9.62" NW milwaukee.

I'm setting my "big snow" expectations really low so even if we get a little I will be happy.

This is going to be tough since everyone is in the Milwaukee area will have different amount, less the closer you get to the lake.

I say, just go with the airport total, which I am guessing will be 6.5"

I had to have it in 4 low to plow my driveway for the first time ever.
I'm going back to a M/T tire. These nitto terra grapplers suck ass in snow....especially this heavy stuff that packs in the treads.

I'm located just off of Layton & Howell and there is next to NOTHING on the ground, what little there is continues to melt. Here I wake up expecting all this snow and yeah, there was more when I went to sleep at 1am....:coffee

twicks69

I have only around 9" or so on the ground right now, but it is still snowing.

Still snowing here too. Also the radar just shows the cloud slowly spinning above us and not moving on. Blizzard warning for Madison until Midnight tonight.

I have not seen one car drive down the road in front of my house yet. It's usually packed in the morning with cars going to the beltline. :stare

Come get some. I'm not looking forward to shoveling, still debating whether I should wait a few more hours and its still coming down pretty good.

GTSLOW, how much is on the ground by you...???

GTSLOW
12-09-2009, 08:45 AM
I just spent the past hour trying to shovel my driveway. The stuff was close to my knees. I'm nowhere near outta shape or anything like that, and I probably only got a 1/4 of it done. Stuff is SUPER heavy. Although its nice shoveling when it just comes out in giant section.

My guess easily 12"

PureSound15
12-09-2009, 08:45 AM
13" is what I measured on my driveway so far

Yooformula
12-09-2009, 08:49 AM
I didnt even bother to measure since my damm snow blower kept getting stuck with the slush.

GTSLOW

Looks like Franklin this morning, about a 1/2 inch of slush to push around is all. It rained all night though right up until 7am or so.

Yea here by me by the lake it looks like Car Guy's pic. Really just about an inch or so of slush.

Kind of sucks cause I was hoping to get a regular snow which would be easier to clean up and the dog would have had his first real snow of his life.

Oh well at least I had an excuse to take the day off!

I got pounded pretty good in Brookfield. About 8-9 inches on the driveway and deck.

Parents live on the west side of Waukesha and they said they have near a foot and that the roads are super bad as well. Not many people on the freeway as a drove into school today. Was driving in from Waukesha around 9pm last night on the freeway and it was hard to see and we were going no more than 30-40 mph one car following the other.

I know I'm not right next to Milwaukee (about 35 minutes northeast of Madison) but we got just over 13 inches of absolute white garbage. Took just over an hour to dig a trench where my driveway was and that was with the help of my dad and his snow blower.
