I used to live up there late 90s . If your not into hunting, fishing or snowmobiling your shit out of luck. The city of Shawano is a little shit hole with nothing but Indian haters and drunks. Shawano County Sheriffs are super strict as are the local authorities. Be careful on the reservations especially the Menomonee. Its a Sovereign Nation with its own Tribal PD.

Hwy 47 north of business 29 is a speed trap by Clint Black Rd. Also the County Sheriff sits in the center of 29 between D and G going towards Wausau.

and we came back towards the end of summer and went to the drifting event and USAIR

so i didnt think it was a big deal moving up here, but it sucks, so hopefully sooner than later ill be back in waukesha

Buddies cottage is up there where we go fishing a lot in the summer. Watch out for the cult up there....man they are creepy. Not to mention they are buying up most of the real estate and businesses up there. The women wear all blue outfits and they actually have a guard house by one of there places. VERY weird and secretive.

Wow, it reminds me of the cult I was in during the early 70s. I escaped by stealing one of their cars...a red white and blue 67 Pontiac GTO. They painted all their cars that way with the name of the "ministry" on the sides. I listened to the stories by gealand and the girl. Same exact thing...spoiled food and psychological torture. A bullet in the head is too good for them cult leaders.

There are track or "lapping days" at USAIR all the time. It is kind of fun but i would recommend some R compound tires. That place is so tight it eats street tires. I hope you don't get motion sickness either, lol.

badass go cart track up there at usa international raceway. They have a big car show there each year. Its also kinda nice to be that far north cause drop fest car show in I think kaukauna, WI. its loaded with stuff to do with concerts, drifting events, monster truck show, bikini contest, hydraulic cars and such. I have only been once years ago. I would go again
