From Dave Meltzer's podcast today:

Brock's treatment isn't going as well as hoped and he's probably out until at least next fall, likely 2011, and may never fight again.

Inside the cage I don't hate him anymore than I like him but you really have to feel for him on a personal level. On another note, looks like his belt will be up for grabs until he gets better.....

sorry but exactly what is wrong with him again? seriously curious.

Stomach/intestinal infection that required surgery a couple weeks ago.....

I wonder how the hell he got the infection in the first place.

Very little was said about what he had and nothing has been said about how he got it. The truth will eventually come out one way or another.....

Shit just happens, intestinal infections like that are pretty rare. Bad luck.

Roids ;)

:goof

Really though....there are MANY different types of intestional infections.

I'm wondering if he has Hep. A which is causing a bunch of problems internally.

I was thinking steroids too.

Do roids fuck up your intestines and shit? Not really sure

Either way there are a few types of performance enhancing drugs out there that are not tested for. Obviously the guy did roids back in the WWE days, but I guarantee all fighters are on some sort of enhancer.

yeah the juice can fuck with your intestines especially the guys doing hardcore amounts of growth and/or insulin stacks.

If it is true that he's out til 2011, he should be stripped of the belt. Odds are that even if/when he does return....he gonna have some issues inside that cage. Being out for over a year is too long. Things need to move on for the sake of the ufc and mma.
If he really feels 100% when he returns....then give him a title shot right away. After something like this, I doubt he'll be ready for that.

Yeah I agree on stripping the belt...if he's in fact going to be out that long. I've said it before, but I don't believe in interim (fake) champions.

Great Brock Lesnar quote "I have never failed a fu*king drug test!"

Not "I have never taken steroids"

Yeah I remember watching that interview when he almost roid raged.
