Had a light cover of snow on the ground when I got up this morning. Started snowing again sometime after 11am again but it's only the light stuff once again. I don't mind snow just as long as we don't have too much of it.

I hate the first real snow fall because too many people go into panic mode on wet pavement from snow and crawl. 43 was a flipping mess because of these people. I can only imagine what 94 was like.

i'll be the first to say that i love snow. but what I had to drive home in last night sucked!!! I work in Antioch,IL on 173, usually it takes me 45 mins to get home (15min to Richmond, 15 to Lake Geneva and 15 to Elkhorn) last night it took me 45-1 hour to get from where I work to Richmond. I probably could have made it down 173 quicker if i had a pair of ice skates on. All i know is they can't use "regular" salt down there because of the chain-o-lakes, but damn it still sucks ass

Past two days I've seen a city salt truck parked on lovers lane, between hampton and silverspring, Just sitting there. About to get the plate number if I keep seeing it sitting on the road not moving. Its as bad as watching multiple plow trucks drive down the road with the blades up when we get a bad storm!!
