I understand the functionality of said supressor, but just can't get over how damn ugly the thing is.

that suppressor should be good for low flash compared to the normal open fluted style diffusers

I started thinking about the shape in the first pic, sure should help the shooter send the "boom" away from him right? I hate how F-ing loud my AR is.
