ok... im trying to decied what to do with my motor... my current runnning motor is from an 02 z28... it has 241 heads on it... now i was looking into a set of 243 heads but their kinda hard to find. so my next option would be to either have those ported orrrrr i have a set of 806 heads that are freshly machined but i heard those are junk??!?! any input??

im looking to stay on the cheaper side... the car is getting a TSP torquer 2 (i have the supporting valve springs retainers and push rods) and already have an ls6 intake....

I would just save up for some nice heads.

That's what I'm doing. I did a mild port job on my 317s until I can get some AFR or similar.

texas speed PRC 5.3 stgII heads. small cc combo chamber, brand new castings, good valve springs, larger valves and are on the fastest heads/cam only car in the country thats deep in the 9's. Right around 1200 for the pair... not as meaty as aftermarket castings is the only downfall.
