Buying a cellphone online?

Say I buy a cellphone from Newegg that is compatible with AT&T to replace her current AT&T phone, what do I need to do so she can use it like she does now? Anything special, or do I ust swap her SIM card in and go?

Just pop the SIM card in. I replaced my wife's dead phone with a $30 prepaid phone when we had AT&T and it was that easy.

Just pop the SIM card in. Make sure the phone is unlocked though. It should automatically get the settings from the SIM for the text messaging center and the internet access point.

Should be unlocked since you are getting it through newegg. But yeah as everyone is saying, just slap the sim card in and go.
