It's not the actual Mensa test, but it's fun to do either way. My first go-round, I got 23 out of 30 right. How many can you get?

Then again, I think Mensa tests are kinda bull. The true extend of a person's mental capacity should not be determined by the questions provided. True genius is a combination of much larger factors. This test is just a series of puzzles, ranging in complexity. Why does it not include other subjecs, such as high English, physics, music, mechanics, sociology... The test is too narrow.

Genius is a vague term in my book. The term is applied to so many different realms that it does not rely on a set concrete standard. We could compare Einstein to Hitler. Both were geniuses (genii?), but in different ways. We could also compare Kanye West (some call genius) to Beethoven. Also, what is a prodigy? How well would Donald Trump do on that test? How about Oprah or Dr. Phill? What about Gil deFerran?

I did well on that quiz, yet I still have difficulty remembering people's names. Do I have to be exceptional in one area and deficient in another in order to be labeled a genius? Then again, I also know some people who most regard as unintelligent, yet they have accomplished feats that the more intelligent might never achieve.

I bet the real force behind Mensa is a man with an IQ of 100 and business degree from an average college.

BTW- the license plate "MENSA" is on a Toyota Camry in Mequon.

22 / 30

EQ is more realistic when measuring a person's ability to function.

Bingo!

The people I know who belong to mensa tend to be tools with a lack of potential and talent.
