Rules- American RWD Cars, Pre 1976. Class D-350. No aero mods.

if there is too many people, why dont we set up some sort of league or something? is there a way to do it via-xbox live?

Like with more classes than just D-muscle cars. for instance, pre '76 vehicle D / C -class. there is a ton of other vehicles that would have been included in real racing in the 70's, but do not qualify as a muscle car.

-lancia stratos, old BMWs, old datsuns, mercedes... anything pre 76 so were not all driving corvettes. lol

does the car have to be a d350 or less. Or can it be anywhere in the D class.

It can be anywhere in D class, but D only goes up to 350. I'd reccomend getting your car to 350 PI or very close to it.

A tried-and-true method is to use the "quick upgrade". It makes for a very well-rounded car. Myself and several others use the "quick upgrade" method, then go slap some rims on it (and maybe some other minor adjustments) to get it to 350.

on a 3 lap/race circuit of whatever tracks.

ANYway I am feeling Iberian, Road America and Bugatti this week for sure.

Assists only slow you down in the long run anyway, I'm 2 seconds faster at Laguna Seca now that I am using stick. So if people need to use them I don't see the problem.

AND for some announcements.
Starting December 30th, 2009 I will not be hosting races on Wednesday nights. My work schedule is changing and I won't be around. However, fndemRgrndem and TwistingStream have both stepped up and offered to host races on Wednesdays. I will, however, be hosting races on Monday nights at 8pm Central, starting December 28th. I've had people requesting more races nights so this works out for everyone. I'll be looking for another person to host a second room as well. Volunteers?

I am also considering hosting a 1-day, winner takes all CAM Challenge tournament. There would be an entry fee of $25k credits and the winner would get all the entry fees as a prize (if 8 people enter, that's $200k!). This would be on a TBA Saturday at a TBA time. If there is enough interest in this, I'll make it happen.

Also, I've started placing my replays from CAM Challenge races on my storefront. Feel free to download them and take some pics!
