Deer hunting..... who's ready?

I'm taking a break from packing. I can't seem to find half my stuff but it doesn't matter. I've got my gun and enough orange clothing to hit the woods. There's one in the freezer from bow season, so this is round 2.

To me, rifle season is about hanging out with family and friends more than it is about shooting deer. It's been that was since I took up bow hunting 11 years ago.

But yeah.... I'm ready to go out of town for a bit.

I only have the next two sundays to hunt, work every other day so I'll have to make 100% use of those 2 days. Glass a 400yrd feild with a bolt gun, elevated treehouse at dawn and dusk, stalk heavy marsh with an AR during the day after hunters leaving woods for lunch push deer around...if the big Siera boat tails dont find them the little Cor Bon's work wonders on deer.

working on camper all week, unemployed for 8 months i need to shoot something...plus "Crusin Chubby's" is sounding real good right now...plus make some bank at Ho-Chunk...plus finally get to "knock the rust off" grandpas side by side for fun...not like any of us are gonna need warm clothes its supposed to be 40's-50's all week which is gonna suck

Orange is still bloody from the last 10+ years of gutting, prolly time for some new orange...
Sighted in my new rifled cantilevered 12ga mag. barrel on the 870. 345gr. slug 1900 FPS, wow....dug the slug out of the backstop it mushroomed to the size of a quarter, and accurate to boot, kicks like a mule though.
My model 94 winchester, the 'ol workhorse, still puts holes in quarters @ 100 yds.
