There are allot of people that think Sega Genesis was the 1st gaming system by sega, but that is wrong the 1st system was the Sega Master System.

I was just talking about this to a few buddy's and they were shocked and had no clue at all, so I figured I'd post to see what everyone else thought :thumbsup

I still have one too. Its up at the cabin. I always have the same discussion with people and they always try to argue with me about genesis being the first.

I had the Sega Master System when it came out. Mainly for this game.

Dave that game and Choplifter were BAD FUCKING ASS !!!

The arcade stand up version is also nice, wheel shakes and all

haha i had a bunch of games. choplifter was badass but hard. i also had zaxxon 3d i think it was??? But i never had the glasses so it was hard playing in double vision hahahah

I had the 3D glasses too! I still have the 1st gen Genesis and Sega CD.

Anyone remember that red nintendo thing? Had all the red lines? Guess it gave people seizures? I had one of those.

Oh yea, I still have my Master System and Genesis.

I didnt know outrun came with the same crappy 3d glasses like rad racer...all of those games were fun

Had it as well.

However my favorite old school system was Intellivision. B17 Bomber FTW.

They also had a sweet Dungeons and Dragons game. It was something like Labrynith of the Minotaur.

I had a Sega Master System too, my nephew still has it matter of fact. The year I got it for X-Mas my buddy got the Nintendo with the robot thing, we went back and forth all week playing them almost 24/7 that year. My favorite games had to be Hang On, Marksman/Trapshooting, F-14 Fighting Falcon, and of course-Outrun. The most irritating game was Rocky-I damn near wore my finger tips off pushing buttons trying to ko "Drago" to beat the game....after breaking 2 controllers I gave up, lol.

the oldest system i had was a NES and sega saturn. but i was born in 87 as well so i'm a youngin.
