For the last couple of years I have organized a meet for the local members of the various Crown Vic and Marauder forums. And I thought I would see if anyone here would be interested in attending in 2010 so I can craft some sort of game plan. I will be reserving a Park Shelter in Elkhorn. They have a huge shelter for rent for a very reasonable price, two huge parking lots so the cars will be off the street. We usually Grill out burgers, brats, and hot dogs etc. It will probably be on a Sunday in June 2010. If there is interest I will post up the real thread in the events section once I have the actual date figured out etc.

When you say Crown Vics does that include Grand Marquis, or is there some sort of a civil war going on between the two sides...??? :goof :rolf

Yes Justin, Grand Marquis and Town cars are allowed too. :rolf

Flick, The name of the park escapes me right now but the address we used for GPS Purposes was 499 W. Rockwell Street. Here is a pic and a very quick video of the park area that I took for last years event.

Sure, when I no longer own a Grand Marquis sedan. God I hate videos with that annoying wind noise.

Lol, sure bring it. Just to clarify guys. This was originally started out as a Crown vic/panther meet but I am looking to expand it to an all years makes models type of meet. Just come out and hang out for the day kinda thing.

That park looks like a great place for a show; wide open, decent amount of parking, nice shelter building w/ shitters, etc.....

Icing on the cake would be a volleyball or horseshoe tournament held during the show. I have extreme ADD and can't tolerate to stand or sit for hours on end (not doing something physical), just a thought.....:)

Got ya, Tony... I think for the most part all the local guys are pretty open to anything so don't gotta worry to much. Well unless you demo a 48k mi original Marauder, then we might have an issue.

Justin, There are basketball courts, a baseball diamond, a public pool, and more than enough open space that if anyone had a horseshoe set, I am sure we could do that. This really is damn near the perfect spot to hold a meet. Only thing is the reservation only entitles us to the shelter, the rest of the park is obviously open game but it was damn near empty most of the day last year.
