hi :)

I am looking to have my allignment done to custom specs. Can anyone recommend a shop that will do this and that they have had good experience with?

This is how I want it set up:
Camber :-0.5' to -1.0'
Caster : +4.5'
Toe : 0"

while stock is:
Camber : 0.0' to +1.0'
Caster : +4.3' to +5.3'
Toe : 0" +/- 1/32"

thanks
Paul

I have gone to Big Bear Tire in Oconomowoc. Excellent shop, very reputable. They set up race cars so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I had my car corner weighted out there as well as aligned.

I just went to Holz for mine a couple years ago. Their alignment specialist works some evenings and some mornings, and my specs were *custom* with negative camber after quite a few brake/suspension modifications. Didn't know of any shops besides a dealership to trust.

Side topic.
Hey Paul, where did you find a place to mount your tires without scratching the rims? I can haul my tires anyplace in the state if needed.
Thanks.

I went to Baumgart Tire in Appleton, and they did a great job. The bad thing about them is that they don't have a GSP9700 balancer and can't match mount or road force balance. I have an appointment this Sat. to get my new tires mounted/match mounted/road force balanced at Richlonn Tire off of Sunset in Waukesha.....I looked at their equipment and it's all rubber and plastic coated, so it should be fine.

whatever you do DON'T GO TO MR. P'S TIRE ON HIGHWAY 100!!!!!!

They scratched and gouged one of my wheels and it is costing me $160 to fix it. NOT WORTH IT. Drive 3 hours one way if you have to have a tire mounted on one of your nice wheels!!!!
