Went to the doctor today. Diagnosed me with the flu. Super stiff neck, horrible headache, extreme dizzyness, bad chest congestion. I am just downright miserable. If anyone else feels similar symptoms, they should get to their doctor asap.

unfortunately I'm attending a school that doesn't give a shit if you ahve swine flu, classes move on without you obviously and basically forces those kids to still come to class because of that. No make up tests. I'd be willing to bet that at the very least 10% of our school has it, and when it's only like 2000 students, that's alot.

Seriously? That is just crap. Where do you do to school? At Marquette, if you are diagnosed then you are excused from classes until you are well again.

Actually my girlfriend and I just got over the swine flu. It sucked. I could barely walk at times.

i was on Saturday. went to work anyways and after i was there for 3 hours they sent me home... i have never called in sick to work. and didn't want to start now.. they would have thought that because it was 60 out that that's why i called in... i went home and slept for 3 hours then worked in the yard and felt fine the next day...


that Friday night i was freezing my ass off wrapped in 3 blankets and sweating. had really bad body aches and headaches.. sore throat and all...

Amy and I had it but I have not had a fever for at lest 12 days. When I first got it I hammered the meds and it came and went in four days. Still got a headache and some dizziness, but breathing is back to normal and I feel much better.

Most important thing is to shut it down. My mother ended up with pneumonia and lost five weeks of work.

and sure, we could be excused, but that just means you miss those tests and have to retake courses if you end up failing, and you might as well go retake the classes anyways even if you don't fail, miss a test and finals you are getting a D at best

A guy at work just said the same exact words you just typed, his neck is still and has fluid build up.

Ach! Wrote that wrong...I meant six hour days, four day work week.
