Some angles I love it, some are iffy. Would definitely have to see it in person.

$375k. For that price you can get a Ferrari 599 GTB for fun and a GTR for a daily driver.

While the car is a technical marvel (a lot of firsts in this thing) that is too much money for a Lexus. Even an awesome Lexus.

They are limiting production to 500 which they did for two reasons IMO. One is that 500 gets them into racing under homgolation rules. The second is that they know they can't sell more then 500 so they limit the production to make it look like they can sell as many as they can make.

I could care less about this car other then the technology that it'll bring to average consumer cars in 10 years. Like the all LCD gauge cluster.

I'm more interested in the FT-86.

I just noticed the center of the steering wheel. The rest of the car looks all high end and then the center of the steering wheel looks like it's from a Corolla. hahaha.

The build quantity may also be limited because they are selling them at a loss. Porsche did this with the 959 in order to get it homologated.

I'm not knocking the guy in any way, but if he had $400K to buy a car, don't you think he'd have something like a Ferrari or Lamborghini by now?

It looks cool, like a 2010 Supra might look...but for $400,000 I just can't quite see it.
People are willing to pay extra for the "status" of a name like Ferrari or Lamborghini, but not for Toyota...so it is incumbent on Toyota to provide similar or better performance at a LOWER cost than those brands to compete in that market. That's just the way it is.

If the "Nissan" GTR said "Ferrari" GTR, how much would it cost, since it kicks almost every Ferrari's ass? Hehe...so I am glad it's not a Ferrari.

It was just in car and driver just recently i believe. They are making a limited number of them and i believe they said it would sell for $350k or maybe $380k. In the magazine it said lexus would be losing money on the car. It also said it will only be sold to people who are going to use the car not just for a collection. I could be wrong i will try and find the article again.

One thing about this car is when you buy it a team of 15 of the best "lexperts" and they come to your house with an enclosed trailer. They unload the car and then give you a rundown of everything on the car. Now if the car needs to be serviced that some crew comes with the trailer loads it up and takes it to the nearest lexus dealership. No one in the shop can work on it besides this crew. No price has officailly been announced yet. I would be surprised to see one in Wisconsin. Ill get more info tomorrow when i go into work.
