Anyone have one or know of someone that has one? Should I be weary of the 3.5? Or the HEMI?

Any information would be great from personal or friends experience.

I work at a chrysler dealer, the 3.5 and hemi are great engines, no real issues. Steer Clear of the 2.7L though. Common problems are mostly suspension related, lower lateral arm bushings go bad and make a rattle over bumps and tie rod ends are common(as on all chrysler products) but other than that, they are pretty good. Id aim more towards 06 and newer, the first runs had some issues with trannies(if equipped with 3.5L) The Nag1 trans availible as an option on 3.5 and standard on 5.7L is very reliable as it is a benz trans.

What dealer do you work at? What do you do there? Sales by chance?

The 2.7 I wouldn't have touched with a ten foot poll, it just seems to me that it would be trouble and wayyyy under powered for that size of a car.

I rented one a few months back. Aside from the numb steering and weezy 2.7 motor I thought it was great. Fit and finish was really nice for a rental and it even had a aux jack for my ipod.

Both are good, reliable. I'd lean to the V8 as it has the better auto behind it, and get's nearly as good gas mileage, especially on the hwy.

Personally, I'm looking to replace the insight w/ either a 3.5 or v8 AWD dodgge magnum.

the AWD is going to be a hard find, very rare option. We have one on our lot but you dont want it. Trust me!!

Don't most new cars have iPod jacks now? My 2007 Chevy has one.
