Prince Valiant

If you love taking pictures, and you love dogs, there really is no better dog to get than a pug. Particularly a blind, mostly deaf, and certainly an ornery pug. And it helps if when you first adopted him, he's more than twice the weight of a normal pug (30 vs 15lbs.)
This is dudley...I'm not a photog, but he inspires one to keep a camera nearby, as some of the things he does/the way he'll look is hilarious.
Meg and Dudley...we were working on letting him accept being held, as he used to snap and bite:

Another as he got worked up....now he's an angel when you pick him up though:

Pugs are probably most photogenic when they sleep:

He looked so funny in the above pic...because he's hard of hearing, I could laugh, walk by, come back with a camera and get that shot. He looked like a melted chocolate chip.
Of course, one of my favorites is that on occasion, he'll put something in his mouth and it'll stay there as long as he's awake sometimes. This ball didn't leave his mouth for two hours:

Funny little guy....
