For being last minute ideas our costumes sure came together rather well and were a big hit with everyone at the party. I think Laura's was pure genius after deciding on mine and I was thrilled with how it turned out. We received compliments from numerous people and had a great time, it will be hard to top these come next year.....:)

To get dudley outfit on, I had to put on the heavy duty/padded leather gloves...he bit me almost non-stop for 5 minutes while we got it on (he's nearly blind and deaf). Totally worth it too :goof

For their size (~20lbs), there is probably no faster dog...larger dogs have an advantage, of course, but unless it's a coursing hound or certain herding dogs (border collie in particular), he's probably faster. Bred to hunt rabbits in small quarters to open fields.


This made me laugh.Dudley (the bumble bee) wasn't just snapping at me...he was hardcore biting. I had my thickest, leather lined winter gloves on (40wt), so I basically let him sit there chewing on me...he can still clamp down pretty good, a couple times I'd say it hurt!
