Anyone ever see this before? I have a 91 K3500 Chevy dually...only it isnt a factory built dually, it has rear spacers and uses stock 8 lug wheels. No biggie, but tonight I went to put on a new set of tires I have and this is what I came across. The outside wheel comes off fine, but I have NO clue how they get the inside one off. Anyone see this before? It looks like there is a nut inside the hole on each stud, but you cant get a socket around the nut because its to close to the hole. Tried double nutting it, no luck. Tried a vise grip, no luck. Any suggestions?

lol, I agree. Maybe I should just find a junk dually and switch the right parts over onto this one!

I would guess you detach the threaded rods.???

I'm thinking the big spacer should just slide off, then you can get at the hex on the bolts you can hardly see.

that spacer is prolly rusted on and has to come off first

whack the spacer off with lots of PB blaster and a BFH. Then you'll have access to the lugsLooks like lots of rust though! Prolly needs a lot of persuasion

Ive seen a few of these, ive heard horror stories of them breaking off, but i guess the kits were common back then..... Id just swap it out for a dana 80

turns out the adapter slides over really long lug studs, then you can spin the studs off and remove the inner wheel. Now I know...and know what tools to keep in the truck if I ever get a flat!
