Been waiting for this model to hit the stores!

Its advertised just over 5# but it feels lighter than pistols I've owned with its polymer construction (plastic to you!). I handled every AR and MP style 22 tonight: price, feel and online reviews make this one my first choice. My lightweight Remington R-15 with its huge glass and steel mounts feels like a cannon next to this thing, going shooting Sunday :)

There getting MSRP right now of $499 at Gander and Cabela's, probably drop below $450 before long. Feels great, need to ditch the iron sights for some kind of red dot setup with 1x or some reflex setup (im going blind).

My son lent me a red dot off one of his airsoft rifles, co-witness' the front perfect!

Two BIG thumbs up!!!!
One to ten scale Im gonna give the M&P 22 a solid TEN!

Couple fail to feeds during 200 rounds fired, outstanding groups using a $40 red dot scope. We were firing those cheap 333 count box's of Winchester bulk ammo, fed a handfull of CCI ammo without a hicup as well.

I am definately gonna get a 1x or better power quick red dot or Halo sight for it. Tried the iron sights but my eyes suck, managed 2"+ groups at 30ft or less. Great gun all around, worth full price.

Ya off hand, hung over and shaking, airsoft rifle red dot and iron sights, swapped back and forth.

No complaints, the Thomson built barrel apears first grade, Im gonna guess it will group like a good 597, definately tighter than a stock 10/22.

When I get some glass on it I'll throw some rounds thru paper from a rest, only a few hundred rounds thru it today, it will get even better soon. I'll measure and record groups by next weekend, maybe run by Badger when I get a scope on it.

Is'nt it sad?
I've put 17hm2 and Green mountain .22 barrels on bone stock 10/22's and they mysteriously group like a different gun! Then polish and tweak the trigger and suddenly the 10/22 groups great (with that guns favorite ammo).
