2009 Chevy 2500HD, he just bought a new Western 7'6" Poly Pro to plow with and a cap to do catering jobs. I am looking for a few things, including a mini LED light bar, led lights for all 4 corners of the truck, and the biggest window vent visors we can find. Any suggestions? Light bar must be less then 350, and corner lights must be less then 200 combined. Bust be amber in color as well

And yes, I'm talking about those realy ugly huge window vent things. My uncle swears by them, has had them on his last truck for 13 years and they do work great for plowing. Must be clear or light tint so you can see through them.

Also looking for wheel flares, big ones.

Any idea how bright these are?

Not sure how bright those are, you could probably use those strobe lights you can get at autozone for the front and back lights. You have to drill into the headlight/tailight housings though.

Those are no where near bright enough, and looking to use LED's. If I do have to use a traditional strobe tube I'll likely go with something like this:

I put Whelen Vertex Hideaway LED strobes in my truck last year, not as bright as regular strobes but they're really compact and easy to install, I'd use the same ones if I had to do it again.

The Plow Site (http://www.plowsite.com/index.php) has a lighting section that was a help to me last year when I was setting up my truck.

Pork Let me know when you do that install on the LED/Strob install. I wanted to do that to our plow truck for winter.

Are you happy with the fitament of the bushwacker flares? Also, why not HID's in the plow lights for double coverage?

Check those out for clearance lights, they might fit and they are cheap. 40 a pair

Flares fit good, Nice and tight on the body. I wasn't really impressed with the output of the stock plow lens. The HID's in the truck work awesome.
