The Malibu @ GLD Last Nyte

The Malibu went to the track for its 1st time last night. :devil

My best time was 11.44 @ 126MPH and got kicked off the track for going too fast with no safety equipment ....

funny thing is the pedal wasn't even to the floor yet :rolf:rolf:rolf

Its got a 565 with a turbo 400 Trans. It had a small tire on it last night.. they were only 26 x 8.5s ( im throwing those on the mustang next year) I had a set of 28 X 10.5s but they were rubbing on the fender.

I dont think the car is no where near its maximum performance. Just took it out to play around last night. I wasn't even shifting it. I just left it n drive and hit the gas :rolf

The bf didnt even want me to take it out last night because it didnt have any safety equipment but I kinda smooooozed him into trailoring it up there .. and said i was only gonna make a couple slow 8th mile passes and ended up going 11.4 in the 1/4 :rolf:rolf:rolf

yeah it was pretty sweet there last night. I think there were only 13 racers that showed up? I made about 10 passes before I was kicked off.

I was a little nervous that no big tire cars had been going down the track and the track wasnt sprayed and all that.

But I was hookin up good until the top end .. seemed a little squirrely. I kept thinkin I was gonna hit that last cone and would lift

You gotta do them when I'm home! I got stupid on sunday and turned the corner and got her sideways for a couple gears. Glad there were no cops around. The wife yelled at my later, WELL WORTH IT!!!! lol
