Nope. Verizon doesn't use SIM cards.

You have a pearl?

I don't have a blackberry, that's just what I was told. And a quick google search showed me that he pearl didn't use one. Sorry if I'm wrong about that.

Either way, it would have to be unlocked to be used with a different service, correct?

no I have a storm. But its through verizon. And they dont use the card in the states so no you cant just switch sim cards. But it does come with one :p. I have no clue about the pearl though

I was under the impression that Verizon only used GSM, which Mark basically confirmed by saying they don't use them in the States.. I don't spend a lot of time using a Blackberry in European countries. Sorry.

I already knew I was a jackass. No harm done there.

Verizon is a CDMA provider.

Verizon is CDMA they are GSM in other countries which is why they have the sim card.
