View Full Version : Ford Dealer Employee's?
Trying to fix a ford escort from popping into gear without the key in the ignition or foot on the brake, the part from ford is 180 bucks and thought I would try to ask on here and see if anyone has a hookup that could save me some bucks. Part number is L351A00P 9175 Looks like the part has a few different names, something like Shift Lock Actuator or Shift Lock Solenoid / Relay. Its like a little plunger looking dude, has 2 leads coming off of it?
Seems like a ton of money for such a stupid little safety, trying to get this done tonight so I can get this car sold. Thanks guys

Find a used one from a parts recylcler, even with a Ford employee discount a new one will be $100+......
Don't really have time to go trudging around at the junk yard ripping center consoles apart, unless your talking about somewhere else?
