how big a tire can I put on....

a 1996 S-10 extended cab 4x4? Stock is 235/75R15, but he wants to go a little bigger. Its time for tires, and he wants to upgrade a bit. Anyone have any experience with these trucks?

i bet you can get 31's on it without a problem before lifting, its only about 2" more rubber

Try discount tire or tire sites I cant remember which one but they have a fitment for that (+ tire size fitment)with your truck. I did the same off a tire site. Think it was Discount Tire.

30x9.50r15's...31's will rub unless its the offroad package

x2 on pat. i had 30x9.5x15's on my 96 blazer. even those were damn close to rubbing.
