We tried this last year, but how about this year we make it into a BCM get together?

Then maybe we could put together some nice calendars/logos/etc with updated pics of everyones vehicles.

What are some good spots in the area to provide a good background for the pics?

Lets hear everyones ideas!

Sounds fun.. I'd be in..
I cant really think of anything that would be big enough to get a ton of cars in one picture though... Maybe a park n ride, or Wal Mart parking lot....haha

There are many places to get some good pictures of cars.

There is Whitnal park, Grant park. get there early enough Martin luther king drive by the beach. Art Museum. Streets of down town. Pretty much anywhere can be a protental good spot for pictures.

Also you can do some night shot with a 35 mm camera. I have one and I have taken some pretty cool night pictures.

When would this be?

Covered Bridge Park is kinda small, isn't it?
Using the backdrop of the Calatrava wing of the museum seems cool - not familiar with the access/logistics down there.
Glacier Hills County Park in Wash Co has a large lot, high-banked environment - great for elevated group shots. This is off Hwy 167 several miles west of Hwy 41.
That park just north of I-94, west of Hwy100, I think east of Sunny Slope Rd (while heading up that hill, just before the 65mph zone). I thought that had some parking, and high banks around it also. I recall an Import club used it for some picnic or something.
Any bowling alleys have scenic views? They often have big lots, and usually food for sale.

I would stay away from the Calatrava as a picture spot...everybody and their mother has that building as a backdrop. Do something more unique, like find a spot that has graffiti, or old buildings or an old farm or something. Industrial areas make for good shots as well....

where are they?

I have access to a Canon Digital Rebel (6.3 megapixel SLR) to take the pictures, whenever it is we decide to do it.

I really need to get my car cleaned up :crying its being neglected compared to past years.

Set a date, maybe sometime in the latter summer, cause I know I'm going to participate, but would love it even more if I can get my wheels on in time, I just need some tires! Anyone know a good place to get some discount 18's? That are performance tires? :3gears: Help! ~Jimbo

Sounds like we need a BCM Day at the Car Wash too :thumbsup

Steph has a Nikon N75 SLR 35mm camera which takes some pretty nice pics and I'm sure could be used for photos.

EDIT: These are some damn nice lookin pictures: http://www.midwestautosports.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=715 I really like the 3rd and 4th one.
