I have the stoplights, and the front all work but I lost the rear running lights. I put a new Headlight switch and bulbs in but still nothing happens, it doesnt have a trailer harness in it either. All the fuses look good too.

Ive seen this on other trucks, Hopefully can find out what it is.

do the front running lights work? if so then it has to be an issue with the rear wiring because all of the running lights are on the same fuse and switching. Check the T where the trailer harness would plug in if you had it, alot of times they corrode out and you lose lights.

I checked the fuses underneath the hood and in the cab and there all fine. Ill crawl under and scrape the terimals on the harness.

Everything up front works, brakelights work and hazards work also. Just went out on me last night.

Good call, there is a 13mm bolt that goes into the drivers side frame rail from the outside about halfway between the rear spring perch and the bumper. The wires go up over the frame rail and the connector that goes on that bolt tends to coorode and break off. Forgot all about that one, had it happen on my 96.

EDIT: Did that scraped it to bare metal and still no rear running lights.

under the left rear of the box up on the crossmember there is a junction box follow the wires from the rear light and pull the connector apart check for corrosion. Bypass the junction box with a wire if this is the case.
