If only I had thought of this. This is a cash-cow to beat all others.

Basically it's a reverse auction site where each bid you make costs you $.60. The bidding for say a PS3 starts off at some ridiculously low amount... say $1.00. There's a timer that counts down and everytime someone bids, they pay .60 and the counter resets. If the counter runs out and no one else bids, you win. One auction I watched was for a Macbook that was valued around $1800 new. The winner picked it up for $120 (the final bid amount) plus the cost of their bids. They made 547 bids... so .60 * 547 = 328.20 + 120 = $448. There were probably a little over 3000 bids on it so Swoopo made back the $1800 plus the $120.
It's very amusing to watch. LOL even up at the top of the site it says "Entertainment Shopping". It sounds like fun if you can time it right, but man, if you make 500 bids and don't win the damn thing... that'd be a pisser.
