Slush hydrogen propulsion was being used by the U.S. gov't in 1978. I'm sure this is man-made. Figure the "SR71" Blackbird hit 2500 MPH in 1964 (year the Mustang was invented). Look at auto technology today. Figure the gov't has had funding and been busy this whole time!

But yeah, the collider is meant to create a black hole because of the sheer amount of energy that can be harnessed from it.
