HID Lighting Kit 5000K for 9006 low beam bulb application.

NEW in box, never installed. Bought for wife's truck, but she doesn't want to lose daytime running lights and have to actually turn the lights on/off.

$40.00

Thanks

If I was gonna pay full price id rather buy it from the actual store and be able to possibly return it if they were to not work.

If no one want's them I will just return them. I figured with everyone buying these it would be a quick way to purchase without waiting.

9006 is the bulb type.

5000K is the brightness, white color of the bulb.

The HID light kit won't run at 70% power that the drl's run at. Not to mention the keyless entry flashes the lights when locking/unlocking which is also bad for the HID lights.

ahh. I get it now. I was confused because I thought the drl was a separate bulb/housing than the low beams. I would have paid the $50, it was fair imo, I was just not sure if it was the same setup. $50 still saves you over the full amount of shipping and the possible 2-4 week wait time. sorry I inadvertently shit on your thread.

Whoever ends up installing these, let me know. I'd like to see what they look like in real life.

I want to swap my fog lights out to match my headlights, but I'm not sure between the 5000K or 4500K lights.

I think 5000 is white light anything higher gets a little blue. These are 5000k so thats what I would run in your foglights if you want to match em up. the fogs in this pic are 6000K and although they will whiten up a bit over time, not enough to match the headlights if that is what you are looking for.

Just for comparison i got the 8000k for my busa i like the color it puts out very clear. Just need to adjust the projector a little it was made for a high beam and is a bit high. crappy picture from my phone

4300k is a factory temp bulb, the higher the temp the more color the bulb has. they progress from yellow - white - blue - purple as the temp goes up.
