The cops closed the show and started turning people away because the interstate was backed up for three miles. If you got there after 11, you weren't getting in.

When I was leaving it took a half hour just to get out of the parking lot. As i headed north on 47 away from the fair grounds there were cars parked up both sides of the road for 2 miles. It was nothing like that last year. Have to wonder if they will be asked to move the event to a larger venue.

In talking to the Hot Rod Radio guys, they were staying over night and going to a car show swap meet today put on by the local Lions club about 6 miles away. It's supposed to be 1500 cars and a Jefferson size swap.

Bunch of threads on the HAMB about the cops shutting it down yesterday and turning away cars/spectators. People got turned away that drove through the night from Kentucky in their hot rods! Ouch
