I didn't know where to put this on here. But I'm adapting a limited slip differential carrier from a Nissan 300ZX to use with the differential in my Datsun 240Z. The bolts for the ring gear are 10mm diameter and the bolt holes in the new LSD carrier are 12mm.
I need to make ten sleeves 12mm O.D. and 10mm I.D. They will be 3/8" in length. Sound simple? Yeah, right. I have searched all over the internet for places that sell metric sized tubing, but none of them will sell to me unless I buy thousands of pieces or they want an arm and a leg for a few meters length.
I was trying to find someone that had a metal lathe and I could just make my own, but nobody that I know has one. Anybody have a metal lathe or know of anybody around town that would have some metric sized tubing? I am at the end of my ropes trying to find something so simple. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.
