Java script problem?

My kids were pounding away at the keys and playing games and now I cannot get any of the smilies to work on any web sites.
Any ideas?

What browser are you using? Also, you can try going into the control panel, add-remove programs, scroll down to JAVA tm blah blah blah update x and uninstall/remove all of the Java installs and updates. Then go to

http://java.com/en/download/inc/windows_upgrade_ie.jsp

and re-download and install Java. If it is a problem with Java, that should fix it. Also, go into Tools>Internet Options in internet explorer, go to Advanced, and hit "Reset" If you're not using IE8 and don't have a "Reset" in the advanced tab, then hit "Restore Settings" in the Advanced tab, then go to the Privacy tab and hit "Default" then go to Security and hit "Reset all zones to Default Level".
