There's an 07 Outlook at Sommers, it's nice to drive around, seats 8.

Avoid the 02-07 Vue, their vti trans fail at 40,000 miles.

Saturn does have a nice line-up of cars. GM did a great job with bringing the successful Opel cars over here, but they did some things wrong in the process. For one the Astra being built in Germany made the thing too expensive to be competitive like they have been able to do with recent successful models.

The Sky is just rad, and it's a shame that the Kappa platform won't live on in any form. They did a quit well on their first effort making a Miata competitor. If they could have had a second gen they easily could have worked out some of the kinks with the car. Namely the interior.

I liked the new line of Saturn cars.

The Aura was great. 2007 North American car of the year. Looked agressive, handling to match. Decent acceleration out of the 3.6 DOHC (Aura XR model). The 4 cylinder model was rated to get up to 33mpg on the freeway I believe. Which is great out of a midsize car. The new Astra is a great little car too. I had the opportunity to test drive one, and it was like a mini Aura. It also handled well. The new Vues are based on the new Equinox's, which is a great vehicle. The Outlook (same as the Traverse, Acadia, Enclave) is a very nice cross-over suv. Saturns latest vehicle line is definitely nice, just seems like it was too little too late....

I wish we woulda got the Astra OPC Nurburgring Edition. 240hp Turbo 4. I'd buy that over any Civic, Acura, or Toyota on the market.

They totally shoulda put the EcoBoost in the Astra and did a Astra Redline. If GM knew they weren't going to get rid of them I'm sure we'd see a hot hatch.

I hope we get the next gen version as a Chevy. If I wasn't at work I'd do a little Photoshop and put Chevy's corporate grill on it to see how it looks. (I'm sure it would look cool. But I'm not sure it'll work. 1, it'll be expensive like the Current Astra unless they build it here, and 2, I see them putting all their eggs in the Cruze's basket.

For the life of me I never understood how this was going to work. I thought at best Penske just wanted the name and established dealer base so in a couple years he could bring in Chinese cars under the Saturn name.

I have no idea what their future intentions were with the car but I think that you could easily put a LNF in that thing.
