Really only stayed rolling because of the banking of Dover. Doesn't compare to Ernie's wreck, or when Wallace flipped forever. The car's today are waaaaay safer as well.
Glad he walked away though.

Dan, thats the wreck I was talking about. Been watching racing for as long as I can remember and between that and Irvan's wreck.. just wow.

Coop, yes he rolled 7 times, in a completely revamped for safety car. And he rolled very slowly.. he was basically pushed over and just kind've toppled. Wallace flipped side-to-side and end-to-end at 150mph in a much less safe car. W/o such things like the HANS device and so on.

Like I said, glad he walked away. Always sucks to see someone in a bad wreck, but I've seen a lot of em.. and that wasn't particularly horrific..

or there's the accident in the truck series. i think it was ron hornaday, he crashed hard and the ENGINE of his car got flung like 3/4 of the way down the front streach
