I have a short garage. Only 18' deep wall to the door. What trucks are less then 18'? The only think I can find is non-crew cab mini trucks (ranger, jeeps, ect). I think the h1 hummer is the only diesel truck that fits at 16' (lol).

Suggestions? I want to avoid parking outside. Diesel is prefered, but can't be parked outside due to no electrical outlet.

A reg. cab F-150 (other full size truck) would fit. For a Diesel, dont forget about the Grand Cherokee or Liberty.

Your best bet is a reg cab but you will not find a reg cab with a diesel

my first car/truck was a 87' F-150 reg cab short box. I loved that thing.

you can find reg cab long beds all over? and with the newer diesels you can leave them unplugged just gotta make sure to carry diesel 911 and an extra fuel filter always and start it way way early or every couple of hours when it gets super cold

Chevy makes a regular cab short bed with a diesel.

I would make the garage bigger and buy a real truck. Add a bump out, out of the back of the garage for the hood to slide under :)

Modifiing the garage is not an option, or is keeping the door open. I live in an apt, but plan to live here for atleast 3-4 more years (based on when I plan to graduate college, ect).

I'm leaning more twords getting an newer f-250 and just keeping it outside unplugged.

My garage is only about 19" deep. I had an 06 F150 Super Crew and that fit just fine and had a decent amount of room to spare IIRC.... I cant think of too many diesel trucks that would fit unless you can find a reg cab. The height might be a problem too though....

My 78-87 suburbans are 18'-6" and barly fit in my 22ft garage (big blast cabinet in front). Even when in, there is no room to work on them unless they hang out the overhead door. Bigger garage is the key.
