BCM Fall Cruise October 11th, 2009

Watch this thread for updates as we designate meeting areas and times. I also will find a place for us to eat lunch in Egg Harbor somewhere before we enter the park.

We will be driving up on 41 - then through door on 54/47 until it splits off and we drive through egg harbor and Peninsula State Park.

The drive is INCREDIBLE! Twisty/turny roads through colorful trees along the lake is perfect.

We should be in Egg Harbor by noon depending on times, so anyone from Milwaukee should be home late afternoon or early evening. But whats better than driving with a bunch of your friends, meeting some new people, and driving your car one last time before putting it away?

That's way off for the time - I'd say it's about 300 miles total trip from Milwaukee and back.

It sure is, that’s a long drive on the freeway for 40 miles of "scenic" driving. Hwy 43 & 57 & 42 are not the most "fun" either. 3hrs drive time with mostly freeway driving.........

Well if everyone from down south wants to meet up at the Allenton park and ride up by me that would work. Or we can meet at the gas station in allenton. Both places are right off of Hwy 41.

Then everyone from west bend and slinger can meet there also and grab snacks or fill up with gas.

no. it is closer than that. new station. as soon as you start going down the hill take your first right and its right there.

I'm not sure who is coming from where. The last group leaving from West Bend will have to leave by 9:00 AM at the latest. So who is coming from where, and who will just meet at the West Bend spot?

Plans changed and I will be unable to make it. Ben will take over the meeting spot area. I am pretty sure it will still be the same.

After that the cruise will go north (I'll be joining in Appleton where there will be a stop to stretch, gas-up and what not).

I'm busy todya at work but I will call and try to get a reservation for 25 some place in Door County around Noon for all of us to eat.
