There may also be "MILITARY" discounts similar to the student discounts. I'll have to look into it. When I was going through my one of my distributor's web sites I came across an Office 2007 Military which was priced pretty ridiculously low.

I was looking into this also. I got my copy of Office 07 for 19 bucks I think.

7 is definitely better than Vista. They've changed the annoying (CONFIRM EVERYTHING) part of the OS so it's not quite so irritating. 7 is also faster than XP on identical hardware. There have been some changes to the taskbar. Let's see... most of the other changes are under the hood and really won't mean much to the average user (like dynamic driver provisioning).

I'm running 7 on an old ass Presario laptop. It won't run all the cool transparencies but the functionality is there.
I love the tool bar and being able to move two windows to half screens with just a drag of the mouse.

Just got it using Jeanna's sisters email account (luckily she has a Mac). Comp was quick before but it's running great with a complete revamp with 7. I wiped it and started over, after backing everything up. Well worth the $29 so far.

I am currently struggling with Vista issues on several of my PCs.
I would be allllll over this if anyone is a student that doesnt want theirs, or knows a student that would be willing to sell their copy!

One of my good friends at school has a Mac and she won't use the upgrade. I will ask her when I get back to school monday (I am sure she will be fine with it) if someone is interested in paying for the upgrade? Shoot me a PM if interested.

If you have alot of machines to upgrade for about the price of Windows 7 Ultimate you can get a TechNet subscription from Microsoft and about 60 Windows 7 keys to use, plus access to all of their office software, server operating systems, etc, etc. Thousands of dollars of software, LEGALLY!
Subscription; http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/default.aspx
Use this code for $100 off the subscription price; TMSAM10

You are welcome, it is a hell of a deal. If you accidentally DL the "N" version ( European version, no media player) like I did no worries, they have a patch that fixes that.
Just got the email to get this, whats the diff between 32 and 64?
