I have know of this for a while. It should be mainstream by this fall, with PCI expres mainstream in the spring of 05. No ned to throw your computer away, just that if you plan to upgrade in 6 months or more, this it probably what you will be looking for.

The only thing I don't like is I really liked AGP, oh well, it is going the way of ISA slots now.
