Yes I believe so. The guy I bought from had it on a 5.0 Mustang.

I would get the tape off the solenoids and get those part numbers to know what shots they are rated through so you can know what your jet sizes should be.

those look like nx noids ,they will handle 300 shot ,i would not put that much thru a single tho

how does the msd5 compare to the 6a? would this work on an lt1 with the adapter wiring? thanks,

MSD 5 is stated to work with any car that uses a distributor. I can't find anything that specifically compares the 5 to the 6A, but here is what I have found for the specs.
