 OMG!!! Well, hopefully they won't get that bad here! (yeah, right, I know) Hell, I remember when everyone thought that $1.00/gallon was getting expensive! Now we have places approaching $3.00! This is just nuts!

That's why my 10mpg truck spends most of it's current life parked.

Yeah, I hear ya! I have a S10 with a 4 cylinder, but I still wish I had a full size with a V8! I would rather pay the sh*tty prices and be able to do something with my truck, other than save on gas!:devil

What kind of import is that? A bike? Yikes. Either that or you don't drive too often ;). I get 25mpg in my beater Cav and if I drive that alone a tank lasts about a week.

In case anybody was interested, I noticed a few prices around this morning.
Plymouth Citgo prem - $1.999
Random Lake Citgo prem - $2.009
Waucosta Citgo Super prem -$1.979, and they have regular leaded gas for $1.919

These are all real gas, 93octane (except the leaded regular), no regas or xxx-ohol crud.

I figured I'd mention some other prices I noticed today.
Sullivan Mobil - $2.079
Palmyra Citgo and BP - $2.089
East Troy Mobil - $2.029
East Troy BP - $1.999

But then I finally realized you guys probably don't actually care much about the prices. I remember looking at the Hwy100 Clark (next to A&W) prices being 12 cents cheaper, but across the street all the Hwy cruisers were filling up for 12 cents more. Am I missing something here?

It is nice not paying quite so much Matt. I also remember when we weren't sure what we were going to do when gas reached .85 and everything was carberated.

Be careful about plunking us all in the same boat.. I never fill up with fuel at Hales Corners Amoco for this very reason, and will always select Clark next to A&W likewise. But nothing beats the Phillips 66 kitty corner from Omega, their prices are usually bar none the lowest for 93 Octane. Using my laptop datalogger monitoring knock retard extensively under high cylinder pressure situations, I have seen no evidence to suggest Clark or Phillips 66 have any lower quality premium gasoline than any other station. In fact I had some of my best "luck" (not that I put a lot of stock into such a thing) with the Phillips 66. To each his own I guess,
